I was born and raised in the town of Plattsburgh, New York just
across Lake Champlain from Burlington, Vermont. As a small boy I used
to watch the Lake for the Champ, Lake Champlain's version of the Loch
Ness Monster. I never did see it???

I've been in radio for almost 30 years. I've spent some time up
north on the air, but most of my career has been spent right here in
North Florida. In the 70's, I did mornings at WHYN in Springfield,
Massachusetts. Pretty tough crowd for a Yankee fan! I also spent some
time at WPTR in Albany, New York, KGGO in Des Moines, Iowa, WQSN in
Charleston, South Carolina, and then I was Florida bound where I worked
in West Palm Beach, Miami, and Jacksonville.

When I'm not on the radio, or researching mind stumping trivia on
the internet, you'll find me at the beach. St. Augustine has some of
the most beautiful beaches, and each so unique. The soft red sand of
Vilano and South Ponte Vedra to the white sands of St. Augustine and
Crescent Beaches, you can't beat it! I also enjoy traveling,
photography, movies and music. Which I'm not sure why I listen so much
on my days off since I'm surrounded by it in the studio five days a
week. Here's a good fact about me. I've had a passion for electronics
since I was a little boy. I guess the electric bug bit me when I stuck
an old "bobby pin" of my grandmother's into a wall socket. From that
day on, my parents were afraid to buy me a kite. They thought I'd pull
some Ben Franklin stunt and their little A.J. would be toast.

I'm so happy to be in St. Augustine. The first time I came here,
many years ago, I told myself that I would love to end up here some
day. I really enjoy strolling down St. George Street and the
Bayfront. There's so much history and every old building has a story.
It's also a great place to people watch.
